Hillside Farm B&B Southern Free State. Just off the N1 between Bloemfontein and Colesburg. We are: 140km south of Bloemfontein, 550km from Johannesburg and 900km from Cape Town.
Within easy access of the N1, the farmhouse is behind a koppie out of view of the road and set in a beautiful garden. We provide luxury guest accommodation.
Len’s cottage
Built in 1929, the bedroom and lounge have been renovated to include a compact kitchenette and spacious modern bathroom. The cottage is private; with a queen size bed, en suite and has an outdoor sitting and eating area. It overlooks the rose garden section of an attractive established garden. A sleeper couch in the lounge provides more sleeping space if necessary.
The “Tree House”
This large unit called The “Tree House” is modern and spacious. Ideal as a family unit, it has folding stacking windows which open to a lovely view over the main garden. Please note that this unit is accessed by a flight of stairs – it is not wheelchair friendly.

Dining / sitting area. We provide dinner by arrangement, where a choice of home cooked meals are available. Breakfast available in the respective units for you to help yourself to in the morning.

Travelling Southwards from Trompsburg on the N1, drive 14km towards Springfontein. Turn left @ Hillside sign board.
Travelling Northwards From Springfontein. On the N1, drive towards Trompsburg, measuring 9km from the Springfontein North turnoff. Turn right at the Hillside sign board.
